Ce document est destiné aux enseignants et aux formateurs de l’école primaire. Il présente dans sa première partie certains aspects de l’enseignement des sciences fondé sur l’investigation (ESFI) ainsi que ses implications pour la classe en s’appuyant sur des outils pédagogiques créés dans différents pays. La seconde partie propose des conseils permettant d’adapter et de concevoir des modules d’activités pour la classe.

Through the universal theme of calendars, classes study the measurement of time, its history and impact on past and present societies, while discovering the methods of astronomy. ..

Collaborative project:

From Archimedes to Einstein, Europe is the cradle of major scientific discoveries. European discoveries invites classes of pupils aged 8 to 14 to take part in compiling an encyclopaedia of Europe's major scientific discoveries and inventions, tracing the history of the foundation stones of modern science.
